TRAIAN EL PELO SUELTO Y CORONA DE FLORES
~[Papeles Manifesto / 2025]
"Traín el pelo suelto y corona de flores" is a piece of physical theater, with performative airs without text that is born from the obsession with the images evoked in "La casa de Bernarda Alba" by Federico García Lorca. The intention is to distill the classic, contemporary to rage, to keep everything that has often been buried by the magnitude of the words of Fuentevaqueros, focusing on the poetics of the sensations and tensions that emanate from Lorquian literature.
Six performers will carry out the liturgy of mourning, claim sexual freedom and face the violent turn of repression in this dreamlike and poignant montage.
