ALICIA

[VORTEX / 2022]

ELAMOR x ALICIA is a work for three dancers and a choir on stage, where music, dance, and dramaturgy create a suspended lapse of time; but ALICIA is above all an elusive concept, always recreated for the space in which it takes place, never the same as it was before. ALICIA is a dance piece that ELAMOR has created to fill the spaces between matter and transcendence, with the choir creating spiritual melodies. This sound fills the atrium, and then the choir dissolves offstage. The dancers begin to move with erratic movements that seem unrelated to one another, through which they demonstrate their virtuosity detached from meaning.
